Convocation is one of the most treasured traditions for new students and their families during NSO. This is the ceremonial matriculation of new undergraduate students into the Georgetown academic community. Participation is mandatory for students and strongly encouraged for family members.

This year the ceremony will be virtual so more family members will be able to participate as witnesses to their student’s honor pledge. Students, their families, and our speakers will be literally all around the globe but all together at noon D.C. time on Sunday, August 23 through the gift of technology.
