Register online by Friday, October 6th!

The registration cost for Family Weekend covers the student and up to five family members. 
Major credit cards are accepted as a form of payment online; credit cards, checks, and cash are also accepted during on-site registration. 

*Please note that Eventbrite charges an additional processing fee of less than $5.

The following events and meals are covered by the registration fee:

  • Deans’ Welcome Receptions on Friday
  • Light Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday
  • Entry to the Family Weekend Barbecue on Saturday
  • Faculty Lectures
  • Registration materials, publications, swag, and exclusive discounts
  • Shuttles to the National Mall, campus activities, and more! 

Fee Waivers
If the registration fee poses a financial hardship for your family, please email familyweekend@georgetown.edu (new window) for information regarding fee-waiver eligibility. Requests for fee waivers will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Inquiries should be received by Friday, September 29th, 2023, at 5:00 pm EDT.

Refund Policy
Tickets are non-refundable. In the event that Georgetown University must cancel the in-person Family Weekend events, the University will automatically refund all ticket holders in full. However, we are unable to refund families for any plane tickets, hotel bookings, or other costs associated with their Family Weekend attendance. Therefore, we strongly encourage families to book refundable tickets wherever possible.
